Don't even know where to begin with these two! I first met Katy back in 2014 when I just started filming weddings! I was in awe of how helpful she was throughout the day to me and the other vendors, and I just knew I had to hire her and her team for my own wedding a few years later. Not only have we worked together so much since then throughout the years, but she has become one of my closest friends. In 2019 when she reached out to me asking me to come to Ohio with her and Chris to film their wedding I was shocked (shocked because this is someone who could hire anyone and the fact that she asked me was just unreal!). I was beyond honored and excited for both of them. Enter 2020 and plans change - Ohio gets cancelled, they play with the idea of eloping to Vermont, then possibly no wedding at all, and then they decide on a small, intimate wedding with their closest friends in Tampa. I honestly could not have pictured this day going any other way and I truly mean that. "Perfectly, Imperfect" is all I can think of to describe this day! Plans changed, it rained, we may have ran a little behind on schedule, there was tears before the ceremony, then lots of laughter, we cut the cake in a hotel room, ate mcdonalds in between, and ended the night at Chris' favorite place - Waffle House. THIS is what a wedding and marriage is all about - embracing the unexpected and making the absolute best of it. Katy + Chris - you two are going to have one amazing marriage, I cannot wait to see what is in store for you two and Marlee in the future! Thank you for allowing me to capture and be a part of your day, it was an absolute honor!
